Socks! Socks! Socks!
12/01/2016Attention Lake area friends! Barefoot Floors needs your help. We are excited to share our position as the lake's leading flooring company and ask our fellow supporters to drop by the store and donate their socks. No, no, not the ones on your feet! We are asking for donations of new socks. Why socks? Did you know that socks are among some of the most needed items for those in need? Our plan is to donate 1000 pair of socks before Christmas and we'd like to meet our goal by December 13, 2016, but in order to do that we're calling on YOU! The socks that we gather will be donated to Share The Harvest Food Pantry and distributed to those in need all over Camden, County. We're taking every size and any type - from athletic to dressy and everything in between.
For many, especially in the winter, it can be difficult to find the funds to purchase food which means buying new clothes and hygiene items is nearly impossible. Barefoot Floors hopes to alleviate some of the burden for local families in need by collecting not just socks but all items related to personal care. Think - shampoo, soap, deodorant, razors, feminine hygiene items and laundry soap. A little goes a long way in making a big difference in the lives of others in our community.
What you can do!
Make your purchase, no need to wrap, then drop your donation off at our NEW location. 5513 Osage Beach Parkway, next to Blinds & More, near the Osage Beach Post office. Please feel free to call us at (573) 348-6006 if you have any questions.
